Who Are the Nazranis?

The Nazranis, also known as St. Thomas Christians, are among the oldest Christian communities in the world. Their origins trace back to the arrival of St. Thomas the Apostle in India in 52 AD. Rooted in strong faith and rich traditions, they have preserved a unique identity that blends Christian beliefs with Kerala culture. This heritage continues to inspire generations through spirituality, history, and community life.

This living tradition is reflected in their liturgy, customs, and daily life, forming a deep connection between faith and heritage. Despite historical challenges and changing times, the Nazrani identity has remained strong and vibrant. Today, it stands as a testament to unity, resilience, and a commitment to preserving apostolic faith for future generations.
